Relief Society General Broadcast 9/26/09
Last month, on Saturday, September 26th, our amazing Stake Relief Society treated us to a beautiful luncheon and we had the opportunity to see some of the many talented handiworks from the sisters in our stake. It was amazing to see all the beautiful talents that exist in our stake! After the luncheon, we had the opportunity to hear instruction and inspiration from our General Relief Society Leaders and from President Henry B. Eyring as we watched the General Relief Society Broadcast. What a wonderful time it was to be surrounded by our stake sisters and to be able to leave on such a spiritual high!
For those of you who might have missed it, or for those who would like to review what was taught, here is a link to the broadcast. You can choose to either read the talks or watch them online.
Enjoy!

The Caring Corner
Our weekly Relief Society Bulletin has received a little makeover…
It is now called
The Caring Corner
It will be more like a newsletter. Eventually, we will be including spotlights to help us get to know our RS sisters, birthdays, good news, YW announcements and more.
There is a Caring Corner page on this blog that will have the current week’s Caring Corner on it.
We thought this would be helpful if you miss a week of Relief Society.
If you have any suggestions or concerns about this, please let a member of the presidency know.
We hope you enjoy it!

The Pioneer Family
Our Pioneer Sisters
Cheryl was our guest speaker. In pioneer garb, she delivered a touching message about the Willie and Martin Handcart companies. Sisters ate a pioneer feast of stew and bread, and of course a rationed portion of flour. We thank Nanette, Diane and Diane for assembling the flour bags for us to take home.
Diane performed a lovely enactment of a heart wrenching pioneer scene with her husband Dan.
Sisters enjoyed the beautiful pioneer artwork, music, and films which helped us remember the sacrifices made. We felt encouraged that we could accomplish that which the Lord has required for us. Sister Harper also shared a message that intertwined this theme.
